He had been waiting for their return so when he heard Julia he stepped out of Derek's office and went to the stairwell, looking down.   "Derek, I need to talk to you before the Tribunal starts.  Hello, Julia." he greeted her with a nod and slight yet tempered grin.  He couldn't quite bring himself to be in a humorous mood but Julia's attitude made it clear she wasn't going to let what was about to happen get the better of her.  It was the least he could do not to bring a gloom and doom attitude.   At least not until it was necessary.
