One thing was obvious to her though after reading them. There was a gap there. Julia rubbed her stomach gently and sat back, her other hand over the enter key to close the files as her gaze clouded over again. There was something missing and, because other dangers had come up before they could further delve into it, the information pertaining to the seplicurs had been filed away. "But why now?" she asked herself with a bare whisper, referring to the way her memory had kicked in and kept a kind of hold on her thoughts. She sighed, whatever the reason, she needed to stop. She didn't want this to hurt Derek and - although she was definitely uncomfortable reading over all of this - she knew that this particular subject was painful for him. Her blue gaze reflected how she felt, knowing this. She hated to even think about him being hurt, especially with her being the reason. Derek finished his call, headed down to the kitchen for a cup of coffee and then back upstairs to clean up. However he paused in the second floor corridor and hten headed for his office to check his calendar, since he was there. When he entered he found Julia seemingly staring off into space. He came up behing her and bent to kiss her cheek, then his eyes went to the computer screen. "What's going on?"
