Hmmm, care to explain?

It worked like a charm for me in bdb-enabled server(s) for older
versions of OpenBSD, and in newer versions of OpenLDAP, slurpd is gone.
IOW, migrating to a newer version of OpenLDAP will enforce migrating to
syncrepl.

I find the concept of replicating with slurpd *much* uglier and more
difficult to handle than syncrepl, btw, but maybe its code is more
mature.

So, what's the way forward, in your opinion? Abandon LDAP altogether
(looking at the mile long list of errors fixed in between OpenBSD's and
the current upstream version, ie, unfixed in OpenBSD)?
