I do not spread FUD. Take BestCrypt (one of the ?best?). At their homepage http://www.jetico.com/ go to the link Standard Edition or take this http://www.jetico.com/bcrypt7.htm and on the following page go to 17. There you will find written by themselves: " 17. Adal Chiriliuc has discovered an Initial Vector Generation Flaw in BestCrypt. The flaw allowed intruder to get an idea where the hidden part may be inside BC container if the container stores a very regular data (read more detail in the Mr. Chiriliuc article). The flaw is fixed now. Please note that since it may concern hidden parts inside encrypted containers, you should create both new original container and hidden part inside it to completely avoid the attack. Fixed BestCrypt version is fully compatible with earlier created containers. (03-November-2003 release, BestCrypt Control Panel v.7.10, versions of drivers: v.3.30 for Windows 2000/XP, v.2.42 for Windows 95/98/ME, v.2.19 for Windows NT) " There might be many Adal Chiriliucs we don't even know... ------------------------ Yahoo!
