I did some extra testing as well...and I can get it to repetitively happen
now.

Marko had mentioned that he had disabled some of the tooltips, and it
decreased the frequency...but you can for certain get the ghosting to occur
with tooltips (windows ones, not powerpro). Here's how:

1) Setup a hotkey for *Vdesk Next
2) Hover mouse over either a running program in the taskbar, or mouse over a
systray icon to get a tooltip displaying. (you can also open a windows
explorer window, and on the right pane with View | Details enabled hover
your mouse over a long file name that doesn't have enough room to display -
and a tooltip pops up with the full file name. There's a multitude of other
ways to get those standard windows tooltip popups to occur :) )
3) Trigger your hotkey.

Now, when you go back to the original desktop you'll have the ghosts usually
ontop of the taskbar's edge (make sure taskbar is not set to "lock the
taskbar" so that you'll get that extra edge on the taskbar that shows the
shadows nicely

Anything you can do with the shadows now Bruce? =)
