The following questions are for Win95 or Win98.

file.watchfolder is great - at least what I took out of the
documentation. But how do I have to set it up correctly. I tried so
much but was not able to use it. I simply want to start first with a
sample of watching a folder and the changes of any files in it -
c:\windows\temp for instance. Whenever there is a file change I want
to get a message and call a subroutine. How do I have to set this up?
Now I just end up with a bad expression error.

Of course I want to make more with it later - watching c:\windows and
exluding *.dat files and watching...and writing a log. It is a great
idea!!!

One more question: how does it work? Checking the windows calls or
(hopefully not) always scanning the folders and files to find out
changes?

Endless thanks for the new release - what changed my whole planning
for the weekend...again...
