I would like to use notes as a minimal 'message of the day' (motd) system to set startup notes for other
system users. My idea is to run 'note open' as the recipient user from my own powerpro. This way the new
note would be created in the recipient's powerpro folder, not in mine, using the recipient's default note
settings. Of course, the recipient's PowerPro environment should be correctly installed.

I tried the following commands unsuccessfully

(ideal command line)
ppbangTwice.exe file.runaswait("user","password",?"path-to-ppbangTwice.exe","note open")
"invalid command for powerpro: open"

ppbangTwice.exe file.runaswait("user","password",?"path-to-powerpro.exe","note open")
"error running command(2): file not found    open"

ppbangTwice.exe note open
works fine, but it isn't using runas, while
ppbangTwice.exe file.runaswait("ME","my pwd",?"path-to-ppbangTwice.exe","note open")
produces an error as above

Any ideas of why file.runas fails, or alternatives to my minimal motd design?

Thanks
