Hi Bruce, I've found the culprit. I noticed that the caption hotkeys including the middle caption did not work as soon as I started the Sametime Connect Instant Messaging program. When I closed this program, the caption hotkeys worked again.
I'll try to see if there's any workaround for this now that I now what's causing it. Thanks for your time. Thanks. > Hi Bruce, Okay. I've changed my middle anywhere hotkey to middle caption anywhere. At first, I was surprised because clicking the middle mouse not on a caption still shows the taskmenu bar. I found out that the Mousetrap plugin was actually loaded unbeknownst to me. I checked the mousetrap ini file and only one item was defined -- the middle click anywhere. I've unloaded the mousetrap plugin. Right now the caption hotkeys are working fine. Should the problem occur again, I'll report to you if the middle caption hotkey was also affected.
