I'm not sure what you meant by system shadow (:haven't followed this thread), but, I found that c=SysShadow uses Layered window styles (:the actual value of the aplha channel wasn't needed, I tested with opaque too), which made possible my ColorZoomer script, i.e., the magnifying window following the cursor just beneath it.
