Its only for bar and button images which have alpha channel and when trans >0 and <255. The difference is between checked and unchecked is the way PowerPro puts the button image on top of the overall bar background image. If checked, the button image replaces the bar background underneath it (and then that button image will be blended with the underlying windows: underlying windows means the other applications that you can see through the translucent bar). If grey-checked, the button image is blended into the bar image underneath, and the result is then blended into the underlying windows . > and it also breaks old bars' transparencies. Its only useful when you have background and possibly button images which have alpha values for blending. > > I've already updated my bars though. > > Update: I can't show text on bars with a background image and > transparent areas. Am I missing something? It works for me in the permutations I try. Let me know - type of background image (file type, alpha included?) - type of button image - color of text - pixel blending setting - trans setting > > > be used as well. I figured updating three help files was quite enough... Attention: PowerPro's Web site has moved: http://www.ppro.org Yahoo!
