I didn't participate in the discussion as I haven't have a need to use
regex for a while. The last time I used it was while I was stripping
down a file from 3,258,861 bytes to 389,827 bytes.

It always crashed PP if I applied the pattern to the whole file. There
seemed to be a problem with memory management by regex plugin. So, I
changed it to parse line by line, and succeeded without a problem
(:took 5 seconds to accomplish it in my now-gone slow machine, I think).

Secondly, although I don't think it's a problem of regex.dll or PP but
do think a problem of the regex pattern I used, applying slightly
modified one to the mentioned above to the whole file increased
indefinitely PP's consumption of the memory. I killed PP in ProcExp
when it reached 100MB. Unfortunately, I didn't keep the pattern.

These two were the symptoms I experienced with the latest regex build.
