A simple solution that works on my xp machine is to define a hot key
(or button or menu item) as follows
Command:
control
Parameters:
mouse
More Commands:
wait.for(300)
keys %s{enter}
This displays the control panel dialog, waits for 300 ms for the
window to become active, then sends alt-s to switch the checkbox
followed by enter to close the dialog.
You may have to increase the 300 if you computer takes longer to
display the control panel dialog. It has to be showing for the keys
to work.
A disadvantage is that the dialog does appear momentarily.
Others may know of a way to do it without sending keys (one answer is
to use dll plugin to do a systemparametersinfo but using this plugin
is for programmers only).
