OK, reading more closely, I see that when you use a hot key which sends 
mouse clicks to a certain program, the problem starts.  So, until shown 
otherwise, I blame it on that program.

You can try the hot key with notepad to see if that too causes the 
problem.

However, that would be just an academic exercise, as I don't think I 
can do anything about this.
