Might make a difference, not sure. > Hi David, I disabled UAC to quickly test, and I discovered that certain programs (like my browser) when installed under UAC had different settings when UAC is disabled (due to that silent redirecting of \Program Files to \VirtualStore). So, I re-enabled UAC and re-installed XP as dual boot. I now spend most of my time in XP. Problem solved :) (The only reason I am keeping Vista is that certain games like Crysis make use of DX10, which is Vista only - having said that however, any game I run using DX10 mode on Vista randomly blue-screens my PC anywhere from 5 minutes to 1 hour after starting the game, so I play my Vista DX10 games in DX9 mode anyway!) -- Regards, Grumpy
