Sorry, maybe my information is already outdated. So the in-kernel (2.6.21 or 2.6.22-rc*) DRI drivers already support the Intel 965 chipsets with onboard Intel graphics, and the separately available driver sources are provided for people using older kernels, so they may compile them as modules and get support for the newer chipsets with the older kernels?
I really like Intels attitude towards supporting Linux, in fact I believe you are doing a great job with your support - the whole PowerTOP thing is an absolutely neat idea, not to mention your participation in kernel development!
