Hi everyone!

I have a Thinkpad R50e ICH4 (not -M) with a 2000MHz
Pentium-M. The -hrt2 patch worked for me :-)

With the 2.6.21.1 kernel, after working around the i915
bug with the xorg.conf trick, I got 40 wakeups in X
using Window Maker with no dockapps and the "extra
timer interrupt" was on top of the list.

Following the suggestion in this list, I downloaded
the kernel 2.6.22-rc4 and applied the -hrt2 patch
and it worked just fine! Now, under the same X
conditions I get around 11 wakeups (1.7 on
a idle console), with my cpu working at the
lowest frequency available (600MHz).

This -hrt2 patch is really nice, and I hope it will
get into the mainline kernel!

Update:
suspend-to-ram will not resume anymore.
it did not do so reliably befoer, so ...
suspending to disk (software_1) looks good.

suspend-to-ram is working fine for me!

Are you using the suggestions of the thinkpad wiki?
I remember I had to edit xorg.conf and use the script
which is in the wiki to get suspend-to-ram correctly.

Regards,
Carlos Mafra
