here, it never worked until 2.6.21.1. my graphics chip is a 82852/855GM. i got it going with saving and retrieving the screen -- but it only worked from within X itself, and it did not mind any alternative settings in xorg.conf. every other time, the screen would look somewhat different and wouldn't blank properly. Now in this kernel, it's broken completely again. i didn't give the thinkwiki voodoo another go (yet). best, andre > > Carlos R.
