I used a Dell Latitude D505 for this; this has 2 batteries (one of 
them is in the media bay)

your LCD is the biggest power consumer in your system though;
the bigger the screen the more power is consumed, esp at full 
brightness....


I've seem people with smaller screens (mine is 15") go well below 10 
Watts...
