I have a Thinkpad T40. (14" pentium M 1500). When I rmmod usb modules,
don't use the wireless and dim the brightness to the lowest, I get it
down to 8.5W with 42 wakeups.

However, in a usable condition (wireless on, maximum brightness,
moving the mouse around a bit) it is about twice as much, with 16-18W,
because Ndiswrapper causes about 80 wakeups and I don't reach C4
anymore.

I have two small questions to the list:
Is there a way to use wireless without having so many wakeups?
My Chipset is ICH4-M. Is it possible to use the hrt-patches and would
this reduce my power consumption more than a few tenths of a watt?
Powertop shows me 19 extra timer interrups. If I understand it
correctly, those would be gone with the multimedia timers.
