That's nice, if it works. If it indeed works, do try to verify that there are 
no performance and power hits. (On the contrary, with 2.6.21 kernel quite some 
time back, my athlon64 x2 desktop wouldn't boot with dyn_ticks (no_hz), unless 
I supplied nolapic_timer. With nolapic, it would simply hang at boot. Looks 
that lapic is essential for smp systems. Btw, quite a few machines are known to 
have a buggy/broken lapic apparently.)

My laptop boots with 'nolapic_timer' but acts weird afterwards, ie I 
couldn't execute anything (not even reboot) after playing some xmoto.

IRQ22 is my wireless NIC (rt2500pci).

Yay! Seems that 'nolapic' did the trick. Uptime is almost 2h now and no 
80k wakeups in sight!
