Hello. In less than a week, I will be in Munich, Germany for 2 weeks. What I
want to know is, are there any special considerations I should take into
account while there? I have already bought a European plug converter kit,
which adapts the standard US plug format to several European plug types. I
assume this will suffice voltage conversion wise, as well? I also will be
bringing my new 8mm camcorder along for the trip, as well, so I'd like to
know, generally, if there are any specific cautions I should take, as I am
aware that power fluctuations are commomplace abroad, and I do not wish to
incur damage to my trusty old PowerBook 145B nor my camcorder. I have never
been to Europe, so any advice or suggestions regarding the use of PowerBooks
and electronic devices anyone on the list can give this girl would be GREATLY
appreciated! TIA :-)Heather Anne
