Hi Heather Anne,
in Germany we have 220V, and you only need a 2-pin plug with 2 round pins.
If you haven't this one you can buy an adaptor for 2 or 3 dollars at every
electronic shop or warehouse here in Germany. Be sure your PowerBook and
your Camcorder will run at 110-220 Volts and 50/60 Hz. That's all...
And don't worry about power fluctation, it simply doesn't exist.
Visit the castle "Neu-Schwanstein" (60 miles from Munich). It's really great!
And take a raincoat with you ;-)
