PowerBook 1400c 133/ OS 8.1
I am trying to hook up an infrared sender which is used to program a LEGO
Mindstorm robotics controller. The unit is hooked to the printer/ modem
port but I am not able to connect to it.. Message about the port being used
by other....???).
Just to test the port, I hooked my canon printer to the port and installed
the driver. Test failed.. Same message.
Apple talk is off I have thrown out all of the other printer profiles and
Apple SW (stylewriter) crap that perpetually insisted on placing itself on
the desktop, (what was that all about anyhow??).
Any tips?
BTW, While I frequently get insights into how the mac functions from reading
posts in the powerbook and pci powermac forums, I have never received a
satisfactory solution to any problems that I have submitted to the group. I
am wondering if it is me.... Am I being clear enough with the problem
description??? Or perhaps my problems are too mundane?.
