The 180C requires the larger 3.0 Amp brick and the straight 180 will work on the 2.0 Amp brick. It could be an overload breaker cutting off in the brick. Also you may need to reset the power manager: remove AC and battery. Let unit sit 3-5 minutes with out any power. With two paper clips simultaneously push the reset and interrupt buttons for 5-10 seconds. Reconnect the AC and see if if comes up. I think there is a battery thermistor that could mess up the charging if it were bad.
