I thought it would be interesting to start a "therapeutic program" for 
my pb1400 battery. Sitting unused for a few years with problems before 
that, it was lasting ten minutes. Now, whenever home, I keep the laptop 
on and alternate between charging and draining the battery. I'm up to 
thirty minutes!! Beats $120 for a new one.
