I can thoroughly recommend the Olympus D500L, which I got from a fellow MUG
member for C$200.  Before that, I had a Kodak DC20, which was pretty
marginal.  The Oly is .8 megapixels, which I find quite adequate, and
haven't even tried the HQ setting.  I need a larger memory card for it
before I do that, though.
