I used an Olympus D600L for awhile. Nice camera. With an adaptor it
connected to my 5300 via the modem printer port. Worked good, but it's
recommended that you not "hot swap" via the printer port connection.
That meant restarting everytime I wanted to connect the camera. Also,
something about the Olympus photo format (or my ineptness) prevented me
from double clicking on the raw photos to open. I had to open each one
from within Photoshop. Probably some Preference to tweak somewhere, but
I never found it.

I now have a lower-end Olympus with a Flash Card. Combine with a
FlashCard PCMCIA adaptor and voila, no cable connection necessary.
Works on my 5300 & 3400. I strongly recommend you consider a camera
with flash card or smart card memory cards, then get an PCMCIA adaptor
on E-bay. It's a simpler life.
