I looked around for any glint of hope that the PowerPoint people would have
a solution. But, I came up without anything.

That "USB Printer Share" feature appeared in one of the OS 9 versions. I was
able to make it work for a while between my iBook and my daughters' iMac,
both running OS 9.2.2. The HP deskjet was a freebie bundled with the iMac,
and it is waaay too slow for any users who are still alive 8-) But, I think
that it should work fine with a _normal_ <ha!> usb printer.
