Hi List, After a friend got a new Ti book, he dropped his 3400 off to me (nice guy), but it is not without a problem. About 2-3 minutes after putting it to sleep, it will emit a medium-pitched whine. Real funny thing is, I don't think it's coming from the speakers...it happens even if I put a mini-jack in the sound out. I already wiped the hard drive, and have also replaced a 24mb ram module with a 64mb. (Didn't think the ram was the problem, just wanted to give it more) Everything else on this machine seems to work fine...just can't get rid of that annoying whine!
Suggestions, anyone? TIA, Larry -- PowerBooks is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
