I have the oppurtunity to purchase a 520 or a 540, I know the 520 is passive
matrix and the 540 is active. Is it possible to convert a 520 or 540 to a
color screen perhaps one from a 520c or one from a 540c? I am an expert on
the 1xx series and have done pretty much everything possible to them so is
it feasible for me? Also are processor upgrades easy because like one from
a 540(x) to put in a 520(x) because the 520 is cheaper than the 540 so I was
wondering if it is worthwhile to get the 520 or step up to the 540? I know
the cost of 540 chips is minimal but what about screens as mentioned before?
My ultimate goal is to bump it up to a power pc so bear that in mind.
All help is appriciated!!!
