I have a PB 5300c. I usually get from 1 to 2 hours on a battery. When I do get a low power warning it is also about 10 seconds to powering off. I don't know if this is a problem with the battery or just the whole power management system. I bought the PB used so I don't know what it was like new. When you get the power warning the best thing to do is to put it to sleep and then change the battery or get it on mains power. Then you can save /quit / whatever. > > >2) How warm should the underside of the pbook be when computer is being >used?
