Been following this thread. Nothing specific, but this is what works on my PB540c/32/500/OS7.6.1/GV PP500 Mercury 19200 Control Panel - Powerport 500 v 2.08 Extension - Powerport 500 Tool v 2.08 FreePPP v2.62 Other than an occasional dropped connection everything works fine. BTW FreePPP works with OS8
