Hi Dan,

NO, that is not the problem. I get a message about the system not being
able to communicate WITH THE MODEM. In fact, it does not generate a phone
call at all. It seems MAC is not able to communicate with the PC-Card
modem. I wish the problem were in the browser configuration (I am used to
that kind of things in my Wintel machines ;-) ) but this time is not.
So, is there a way to check a PC-Card modem?. I would like a terminal type
program to send AT commands to it and see its answer (if any!)
Best regards,
JOSE
