I get a message about the system not being able to communicate WITH THE MODEM. In fact, it does not generate a phone call at all. It seems MAC is not able to communicate with the PC-Card modem. Best regards, JOSE Hi Jose, So try the control panels. I would try first the Modem control panel if there is one. It is possible a modem script is missing. Next, I would look at Remote Access control panel to determine that the proper port, like the cardbus port, is selected. Then I would look at the TCP/IP panel to determine that the proper card is selected. Mine says the name of the card in the "connect via" section.
