I have a 1400/166 that has a Sonnet 400 in it and I have had the same
problems. I also have a 2400 with identical system software. The start up
disk issue does not happen on the 2400. I think it's a OS 9.1 issue and the
1400 ROM???
So this is what I have done to get around the issues:
I partitioned my 20 gig on the 1400, and installed OS 8.6 on a separate
partition...you can use that start up disk control panel to reboot with no
problems. Make sense? I also downgraded to Sonnet extension 1.45 because
version 2.0 seemed to make me crash a lot.
