Hi all, my recently acquired PB 5300c shows the annoying behaviour of frequently and randomly freezing, even with all extensions off. When shutdown, the computer does only reluctantly start with the help of a forced restart. When put to sleep by shutting the display, it crashes, too. My problems might have to do with the exchange of the original trackpad against one of a PB 190. This was suggested to me by one of the list members to gain the functionality of the button trackpad, and it has worked alright - except of the crashes, of course. Has anyone who did this swap experienced similiar problems or do they lie elsewhere?
