If I were you I'd just buy an adapter on ebay.  You can always resell it if
the computer doesn't work.
One side note for this computer is to be careful opening and closing a 180c.
The display ribbon is a little to short and way too delicate. I have two 180c
powerbooks laying around that both are only dead because the display got opened
too far. A good thing about any 1xx series powerbook is that they are really
simple on the inside. usually they are pretty easy to fix. If yours still has a
good display and ribbon it may be worth keeping even if it doesn't work right
now....or you may be able to sell it to someone who is interested in restoring
it.
