All PowerBooks (excepting the original PB100) use rechargable PRAM
batteries. PB1xx series (excepting again the original PB100) use a single
rechargable lithium cell, usually a Panasonic VL2320 with a pair of
welded tabs for attaching to a PCB. Digikey carries this exact package
<http://www.digikey.com> (for under $5 iirc.)

Looks sorta like this:
_______
|______| <- cell
| | <- tabs

The word Lithium in the name only partly describes the battery. There are
several types of Lithium cells and some are designed to be recharged and
others are not. The exact battery type is almost always stamped directly
onto the cell, replace the original with the exact same type and you'll
be fine.
