Sounds interesting... I'm not sure how I feel about limiting the number of posts to a list (3 posts a day seems low to me - there are lots of people on this list that would exceed that), but I'll probably get over it. ;-)

Are you planning on making the software commercial? If not, may I suggest making it open source? I know that programming by committee can really slow things down and cause feature creep, but maybe after you've finished the initial release you could open it up to the community. That way you could get some serious muscle behind it. An open source list manager may be pretty useful.
