Thanks, Brian. I would also mention that for those
users who cannot avoid using a 'newer' browser than
those currently supported by Classic OS, Linux might
be or actually is your sole alternative. But for most
of us, that day is far ahead. 
By the way, here is/are the list of supported Apple
