Well this problem I'm having with my 3400c is just getting rediculess. I had my friend give me a second opinion. With the symptoms the machine is showing, it pretty much looks like some sort of power management failure, becaue all connections seem ok.
It turns on & shuts off randomly (often by itself), or will take ten seconds to chime on power up, or wont power on at all, or shows a green light of death, or the fan spins up and it just sits there, and it shuts off with movement and physical pressure. It turns off when I eject a PC card, eject a CD, tilt the display a bit, anything. I cannot think of what else it could be. Where can I pick up a 3400 power board? Cheap???
