Thx, Bruce, but on two occasions I got "server is too busy" or worse. Anybody remember another non-USR site? Anyways, thanks. What, if any, modem init string is anyone using (with freePPP)?
If you're looking for just the Hayes code init string &F0 (ampersand-eff-zero) is the usual 'turn all the options on' generic code, and works with nearly all modems.
