After digging back up an article I read a while back, I think I've got a
winner. I'm subscribed to the digest mode, so I apologize in advance if
someone has already written this one up.

WannaBe (http://mindstory.com/wb2/) might be exactly the browser I was
looking for. Very *very* quick, absolutely no frills. It doesn't render
all that well -- I wish I could figure out how to port links (another
cmd-line browser I enjoy using under OS X) to MacClassic -- but is under
development and is a much faster browser than MacLynx. Understandably small
RAM footprint as well at 3 megs for the default (which is admittedly nearly
2/3rds of what iCab wants, not that WannaBe is using anywhere close to its 3
in my quick testing).

Anyhow, if you find yourself going mad waiting for even iCab to render a
page, take a look. Definitely makes the 117 603e usable and takes the G3
upgrade off of the must-have list -- for now.
