The Lapis Focus with external video and Ethernet is available for the 5300. MV-16EN (or was that MV-32EN ?). About $9.95 from some places. Great for surfing with a tail back to your router. With a SkyLine card, you can surf tailless. X-Jack 56K modem cards are easily affordable and work great. The existence of an integral (and reliable) PCMCIA facility, plus the easy (and cheap) availability of brand new batteries for the 5300 gives that model the nod in my book.
