 I'm also the proud owner of a 520c, that's been upgraded with a 540c mobo
and NuPower 167mhz PPC card. Anywho, it sounds like number one. There is no
OS installed. And two. That either you have a bad disk drive, or the drive
didn't like the desk..
    Through disk tools onto a completely diffrent disk, and try again.. If
you get the samething. It's proably the drive.. But no worries.. I have an
extra in working order I would proably be willing to part with.. I also have
the orginial disk set that came with this computers..I could make copies of
them for you if you like... It would alteast get you system 7.1.1 up and
running..
