We should would like the directions via Viewer or the patch! :)

Well, I've already managed to remove the machine dependence (actually just shifted it from G3 series to 3400, 2400, and Kanga ONLY - this installer won't work on anything else).

I'm working on removing the OS 9.0.4 requirement (since it works just fine on 8.6), and I should have that working by tomorrow evening sometime.

I'll let you all know when I've got a working installer. It will be on my website (shh, don't tell Apple!).

As for installing with TomeViewer, just open the tome found in AirPort:Software Installers:AirPort on your downloaded disk image.

Extract from it the following files and place them in the locations noted...

Extract: Place in:
--------------------------------------------------
AirPort Apple Extras:AirPort
AirPort Admin Utility Apple Extras:AirPort
AirPort AP Extensions
AirPort AP Support Extensions
AirPort Control Strip Control Strip Modules
AirPort PC Card Extensions
AirPort Prefs Preferences
AirPort Scripting System Folder:Scripting Additions
AirPort Setup Assistant Apple Extras:AirPort

"AirPort Driver" is only used by Macs with built-in AirPort slots, so you don't need to extract it.

For background and reference, see Rob Frohne's somewhat outdated AirPort 1.2 3400c OS 8.6 install instructions, visit his website:
