Have you confirmed it's the ADB controller and not the trackpad. The easiest way to do this is to plug in a mouse to the external ADB port.

The trackpad works on another 3400 I have, so thats not the problem.


The most likely failure of ADB is due to a blown fuse. There are several surface mount fuses on the motherboard marked F1, F2,... Check these for continuity.

Fuses ? On a 3400 ? [Mad Dog runs over to his boards......] I cant find any. There are inductors, but no fuses that I can find. Can you point them out to me ?


I thought only the 2400 has fuses.
