After several years on the PCI and swap lists I look forward to participating on the PowerBook list.
My new-used 1400 should arrive in a few days and I am looking for cost effective ways ( read cheap ! )
of getting the maximum use out of it.
I have some built up Mac desktops to handle the intense work . I'm getting the 1400 for a lug around workhorse in everyday use.
I'd like your advice on getting better display and power. So I guess I'll just read the list for a while and see what goes on..
I don't assume I know anything about Powerbooks beyond ( maybe ) the operating system. But freeing myself from a particular place to do all of my computing seems like a great idea right now. And I read that the 1400 is a very stable and serviceable machine.
So I'm glad there is an LEM list for Powerbooks to make the experience smoother and wish you all good computing.
