Well, since my PB 190 does (it came with a totally dead battery, though mine came with an AC adapter), I'll venture to say that yours will too. When I use my PB indoors, I always use it plugged in the wall -- the batteries are for outdoor use. <2. Need recommendation/s on where to find battery/ies and AC adapter> Try http://www.nexcomp.com. That's where I bought new batteries for my PB. Um, but didn't you just say you had an AC adapter if not batteries? Actually, I'd suggest that you first Google before you visit nexcomp.com: "Macintosh PowerBook 520 specifications" for power supply and battery specs in addition to general specs (maybe you can get the specific model number of the battery your PB takes this way).
