Thanks to all for the advice on the mp3 question. I've decided to work on getting internet access before I work on this. I have a PC Card and am attempting to run the installer for it but keep getting told that I cannot install with "HP Background" running. I'm still a newbie with this Mac stuff. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Look for a printer script for HP ( probably Hewelet Packard printer background printing script ) . Do a search ( what OS ? ) with Sherlock
to find HP background. Probably in scripts folder in preferences. Disable or remove it.
